Bakewell Market Day

Steeped in history, Bakewell is the perfect coach trip for the whole family.

Offering a charming day out full of rich heritage and tradition, meander around the independent shops or take a stroll along the river.

No visit would be complete without trying the famous Bakewell Pudding.

Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop

No visit to Bakewell is complete without sampling an authentic Bakewell Pudding, not to be confused with the Bakewell Tart.

As the shop name suggests, this is the birthplace of the 19th-century pudding.

Fancy something less sweet? Check out their afternoon teas from their delightful tea room and enjoy finger sandwiches and an array

of both sweet and savoury treats.

All Saints Church

Sitting atop the hillside, the church offers great views of the town. Built in Saxon times, it was one of the finest examples of medieval parish

churches in England. It has been described as one of the most beautiful and well-preserved churches in the Peaks.

Bakewell Market

Filled with a variety of goods, Bakewell market is the largest in the Derbyshire Dales. This historic market dates back to the 1300s,

and it has grown to become a draw for locals and visitors alike.

The perfect place to find some local delicacies and handmade gifts to take back home from your Bakewell coach trip.

Bakewell Old House Museum

Visit this award-winning museum, set in a Tudor House, and learn the story of the Peak District. Marvel at the Macedonian ceremonial swords

or check out some of the incredible Tudor artefacts alongside a preserved elephant's foot.

This museum is a perfect stop on your Bakewell coach trip to really take in some history. Purchasing a ticket will even allow you free entry for the whole year,

so you can return on another coach trip and enjoy this beautiful museum again.
