We'll start the day in the City of Colchester famous for it's Castle and St Botolph's Priory, here you'll be able to have a walk

around the city, grab some lunch and visit the history the city has to offer. From Colchester we'll continue on the Garden.

Beth Chatto OBE was an award-winning plantswoman, author and lecturer.

Her work at the gardens began in 1960 when she took an overgrown wasteland of brambles, parched gravel and boggy ditches,

transforming it using plants adapted by nature to thrive in different conditions. An inspirational, informal garden has since developed.

Chatto's tearoom serves locally produced freshly baked pastries, cakes, scones, sausage rolls and delicious sandwiches,

together with fresh coffee, herbal teas, hot and cold drinks.

Pick-ups are usually between 8 and 10am depending on destination.
We never cancel a trip so please look out for anything from a minibus to a full sized coach.

It's a few minutes walk into the centre of Colchester Town.

Seating

Seats are automatically allocated at the time of booking, however we can possibly change the seat

if you give us a call, all seats come at a first come, first served basis. We will try our best to

accomodate your request.
